The faithfulness of God is new every morning. The Bible tells us that in Lamentations 3:22-23. So when things are not working out as we expect, and it makes us worried, we should put our trust in the faithfulness of the Lord to see us through.
Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
What is faithfulness? It is remaining steadfast to one’s commitments. It is dependability, devotion, firmness, and being worthy of trust.
For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God…
God made promises in the old testament. He was steadfast and ALL His promises came to pass, are coming to pass presently an d will continue to pass in the future. We may not know what our tomorrow holds, but we know who holds tomorrow.
We should focus on Jesus, instead of the circumstances that trouble us. As bad as things may be, they could be worse if not for God’s mercy. Portions on earth are perishing things but God is our Portion forever.
